Mr. Alexey PONOMAREV Deputy Minister of Education and Science Was born on April, 10, 1959, in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow institute of physics and technology (1982), the Military academy of Peter the Great (1993), the State university - Higher school of economics (1996), the State university - Higher school of economics (Executive MBA, 2007). In 1982-1992 worked in the Scientific-research institute of the Moscow region. In 1992-2010 - the general manager of the JSC "Interdepartmental analytical center". In 1998-1999 was the first deputy general manager of the JSC "ANTK of A.N.Tupolev". In 2001-2010 - the scientific adviser of the Institute of training and re-training of specialists in defense complex, professor of the State university - Higher school of economics. In 2005-2006 - the vice-president of the NP "United aerospace consortium". In 2006-2008 - the director on business development of the JSC United aircraft "Transport planes". In 2008-2010 - the deputy general manager on strategy in the ISC "Management company "United engine manufacture corporation". On June, 9, 2010, by the order of the Prime-minister of the Russian Federation was appointed to the position of the deputy Minister of education and science of the Russian Federation. Is awarded with the Order of Honor, 'Honorable worker of science and technology of the Russian Federation'. Ph. D. in Technical Science. Speaks English. Is married, has a son.
