Mr. Kachak
 | Mr. Valeriy KACHAK Director of Department of priority directions of science and technologies Born on August, 26, 1948, in Lysychansk of the Lugansk region. From 1967 to 1969 he served in the Soviet Army. He graduated from the Moscow mining institute (1975). In 1975-1987 - a candidate, a junior research scientist, a senior research scientist, a senior teacher of the Moscow mining institute. 1987-1992 - an expert of the Ministry of higher and secondary specialized education of the USSR; a senior expert, a leading specialist of the State committee of the USSR on popular schooling. In 1992-2004 he worked as deputy chief of the department, a chief of the department, a deputy chief of the Directorate of the Committee on higher school of the Ministry of science of Russia, a deputy chief of the State committee on higher education of Russia, a deputy chief of the department of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation. 2004-2010 - a deputy chief of the Directorate of programs and projects of the Federal agency for science and innovations. In June, 2010, he headed the Department of priority directions of science and technologies of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation. Ph. D. (in Technical Science, in Economy). He is a laureate of awards of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technique and in the field of education. He is married and has two sons. |
