30 educational organizations became winners of the contest within the experiment on applied bachelor degree
30 educational organizations (7 higher schools and 23 secondary specialized educational organizations) have become winners of the contest selection of federal state organizations of secondary professional and higher professional education for participation in the experiment on creating applied bachelor degree. The winners were defined by the contest commission on the basis of expertise of the given applications.
"The contest was conducted on a very high level, solid applications were given, and the definition of winners was not an easy task. We count that the winners will be able to successfully realize the intended plans, in the result of which there will appear one more element in the system of education, which is utterly important for a successful modernization of economics", - marked the chairman of the contest commission, the deputy Minister of education and science of the Russian Federation Isaac Kalina.
The experiment is maintained with the aim of approbation of educational programs of applied bachelor degree, cooperation of educational organizations and employers, and also to increase efficiency and quality of professional educational according to requirements of labor market and rise of the coefficient of job placement of graduates.
"Today the upgrading enterprises of the country rally lack of high-class specialists, to whom they are ready to pay high salaries. That is why those children who will start learning on programs of applied bachelor degree in autumn will not just receive a diploma of higher education, but, what is more important, will get a profession, required by the economics, and will be unique specialists on the Russian labor market", - underlined I.Kalina.
In the program of applied bachelor degree the volume of practical training of a student (educational and practical trainings, laboratory works and practical lessons, course works (projects)) is not less than 50% of the total volume of time, given for theoretic education and practice. The practical training is conducted in organizations of employers within modules at mastering by students main sorts of professional activity of graduates.
"25 of 30 winners are situated in the regions, which is important not only for development of regional labor markets, but also demonstrates the experience of cooperation of educational organizations with innovative enterprises, accumulated on the regional level", - marked the deputy Minister.
The educational organizations-winners are located on the territory of 30 subjects of the Russian Federation (in the Central federal district - 10, Privolzhsky - 6, Ural - 4, South - 3, North-Western - 3, Siberian - 2, and Far Eastern - 2).
The most number of winning applications contain programs of applied bachelor degree on such enlarged groups of directions of training (specialties) as "Metallurgy, machinery and material-processing" (8 winners), "Informatics and computer engineering" (5 winners), "Economics and management" (4 winners). 3 winners in "Energy, energy machinery and electrical engineering" and "Education and pedagogics", 2 - in "Automatics and management" and "Chemical and biotechnologies".
In total 102 applications from 37 educational organizations of higher education and 65 educational organizations of secondary specialized educational organizations participated in the contest.
The contest selection of organizations of secondary professional and higher professional education for participation in the experiment on creating applied bachelor degree was announced by the Ministry of education and science of Russia on February, 2, 2010. The contest is open. Federal state educational organizations of secondary professional (together with universities) and of higher professional education, which have licenses for right to maintain educational activity and certificates on state accreditation, can be participants of the contest.
One program of applied bachelor degree was provided for the contest in the form of application, which was elaborated on the basis of federal state educational standard. The ground of necessity of training personnel on the program of applied bachelor degree is included to the application, supported by the cooperation agreement between the educational institution and the employer.
The program of applied bachelor degree is the experimental basic professional educational program with normative term of mastering in 4 years. The program of applied bachelor degree ensures professional practically-oriented training, characteristic for programs of higher professional education of bachelor degree. The realization of programs of applied bachelor degree is maintained since 2010-2011 school year.
