The Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation is announcing the Internet-contest of essays for senior schoolchildren on the topic "Our new school".

"For us it is important to see what "Our new school" the children themselves would like to see", - marked the Minister of education and science of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko. "Each schoolchild can share his/her ideas on how to make the educational process more interesting, the school - better, the education - more qualitative. And the most interesting ideas and approaches will not be only highly appreciated but will be certainly used in our everyday work on improving school education".

The essays will be evaluated on such criteria as presence of new interesting ideas, use of expressive means of the language, the logic of expressing the material. The results of the contest are planned to be summed up on December, 6, 2009. The authors of the best essays will be awarded by valuable prizes and diplomas, and their works will be published at the site of the Ministry of education and science of Russia.
