Andrei Fursenko took part in the 1st congress of compatriots-graduates of Russian universities, who work in Russia and abroad

On May, 20-23, 2010, in Berlin the 1st congress of compatriots-graduates of Russian university, who work in the Russian Federation and abroad took place. More than 250 scientists and representatives of authorities participated in the action. Within the congress there were round tables and sections on various topics, during which questions of development of higher education and scientific researches and of forming innovative sector of Russian economics were discussed.
The aim of the congress - widening and strengthening the cooperation of Russian scientific diasporas, which work abroad, with Russian scientific-educational community, with goal to develop and restructure the domestic science and system of higher education, their integration into global scientific-educational sphere, joint setting of research tasks and elaborations of approaches to reforming scientific and economic spheres in Russia.
"Today a clear understanding, that further development, including of global economics, is impossible without the turn to innovative way of development, is appearing", - marked in his report the Minister of education and science of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko. "It is impossible to stand still, it is necessary either to move forward or we will start to roll back".
The topic of innovative development became key within the discussion at the congress. The Minister marked a set of the most important state programs, which were carried out at present in Russia and aimed at forming modern infrastructure for conducting researches on the world level, innovative chain from researches to their commercialization in economics, in the country.
"The main investments - to creators, to scientists. For this, in particular, from this year the program of engaging leading scientists, as domestic, as those who work abroad, in work in Russian institutions of higher education, is starting", - stressed the Minister.
"We should use the whole international experience, but it is more important to offer some principally new solutions. These solutions can just appear at discussions of people with various experience", - in this way the Minister evaluated the importance of this congress. "It would be very interesting to use your experience and the experience of your colleagues, so that these approaches world work in Russia", - underlined Andrei Fursenko.
The organizers of the congress were the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo and Federal state institution NII RINKCE.
